  • Damaged Drone Model Identification
  • Member since September 2016

I am a Ph.D. student at the department of Control & Simulation at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the Delft University of Technology(TU-Delft). I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at Beijing University of Aeronautic and Astronautic Science (Beihang University) in 2014 and 2017 respectively.

My research topic is within the framework of the project “Flight Envelope Prediction & Damaged Aircraft Modelling”, and mainly focus on obtaining models based on real flight data, which is more applicable to carry out for drones. The primary research object is to establish global models of drones in several kinds of construction damage cases, such as rotor damage, structure dislocation, structure wobbling, etc. An on-line method will use these models to predict the safe flight envelope of drones in corresponding risky circumstances. And this could protect the damaged drones from slipping outside the shrunken flight envelope and efficiently enhance drones’ safety in the future.
