Biography

Menno started his aviation career in 1986 at the Fokker berdijfsschool, nowadays VTOC Fokker. Until the bancrupty from Fokker in 1996 he has installed and tested electrical installations on the F50 production line. After the bancrupty he moved on to Crossair in Swiss and gained a lot of experience on the Saab 340, Saab 2000 and AVRO RJ85/100 fleet. After Crossair he moved back to the Fokker 50’s from VLM Airlines in Antwerp.
With the reorganisations in the aviation world it was time to become teacher at the VTOC Fokker. The real aircraft were still calling so with a few people he helped to start-up Excellent Air what later evolved into JetSupport at Schiphol. There he gained a lot of experience on the Cessna Citation 500 series and on the Dassault Falcon series.
In 2005 it was time to make the next step and he started to work for the TUDelft as EASA Part66 Certifying staff. In this function he maintains the Cessna C550 PH-LAB and helps, builds and designs projects for the aircraft.
He also acts as Design Engineer at the common TUDelft-NLR Part 21 design organisation.
