Carl Westin, MSc.

PhD Student

Carl obtained his M.Sc. in Applied Ergonomics and Human Factors from the University of Nottingham, UK (2012). He is currently pursuing his PhD at the Delft Technical University of Technology, The Netherlands. He is an ATM consultant at CHPR and a commercial pilot with more than 5,000 jet hours, currently working as a First Officer on the Boeing 737NG for Norwegian Air Shuttle. His research interests include human-automation interaction and determining what drives the acceptance of automation, specifically in ATM.
