Assistant Professor

Joost received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in aerospace engineering from the Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Delft University of Technology. His research interests include the field of communication, navigation and surveillance, air traffic management, and in human-automation interaction. His PH.D. thesis, titled “Airborne Conflict Resolution in Three Dimensions“, was about the design and evaluation of ecological co-planar flight deck interfaces for airborne traffic separation.
