Professor at the Department of Cognitive Robotics, TU Delft

David Abbink is a full Professor with the Delft Haptics Laboratory, part of the Department of Cognitive Robotics at 3mE, TU Delft. David received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from TU Delft, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. His current research interests include neuromuscular behavior, driver support systems, and haptics.

We collaborate closely with David on his “Symbiotic Driving” VIDI project, through the PhD project of our shared PhD Sarah Barendswaard on driver modeling and identification.
