Riender Happee investigates the human interaction with automated vehicles focusing on safety, comfort and acceptance. He is also an Associate Professor at the Transport & Planning department at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG) at TU Delft. Riender is the primary investigator for our collaborative research on motion sickness in automated driving (PhD research of Tugrul Irmak).
