Education

The Cessna Citation cabin can be converted to a classroom where students can experience real time the motions of the aircraft. Inside the cabin eight seats can be installed for seven students and one cabin operator. In the back of the cabin hardware will be installed which collect information directly from the airplanes data buses. This data is then transmitted via wireless network towards tablets. On these tablets the student may see instruments copied as seen by the pilot or graphs which provide real time information for the specific eigen-motions of the aircraft.

During these practical students are learning about stationary point measurements for investigating motor performance and stall speeds, phugoid motion, fast period motion, dutch-roll, steep-turn and a-periodic roll. As a bonus students can experience to be weightless for fifteen seconds during a parabolic flight.
